July 2004, Yvonne visited Patricia in Ghana to see the land and learn more about the life down there. Travelling the country and seeing all the children that do not go to school because their parents can not pay for it due to unemployment Yvonne decided to help these children.

There is no school obligation in Ghana and many parents can not pay the schoolfee or books. So many children just sit around. Also many parents do not see the importance for their children to go to school and keep them at home to help around the house to nurse their younger brother or sister or work at the field. Maybe we cannot help all of them but a start will surely help.
